Preschool & Day Care · Pandavleni, Nashik · Estd. 2017
Where children learn by playing.
A preschool and day care at the foot of the Pandavleni hills in Nashik, for children aged 1.5 to 11. We keep the days calm and the groups small, and we try not to rush anyone.

How we think about it
Small children learn by doing. Our days are full of building, pouring, pretending and asking why, with a teacher nearby who knows when to help and when to let them work it out.
Every child gets there in their own time. Some talk early, some walk late, some take a whole term just to settle in. That is normal. We watch closely, we keep it warm, and we never compare one child to another.

A word from our founder
“I have taught for more than thirty years, and I wanted this school to stay a small one. Small enough that the teachers know every child properly, and nobody is ever in a hurry.”
Children do their best when they feel safe and someone is really paying attention to them. That is the whole idea here, and most of what we do comes back to it.

Programs
Four years, and what each one is for
Playgroup is mostly about feeling safe away from home for the first time. By senior KG, children are reading, writing and ready for Std. I. A lot happens in between. Here is how the years build.
The North Star Day Care
We look after the older ones too
Children up to 5th standard come to us after school for a proper meal, help with their homework, and somewhere calm to rest until you finish work. Day care that runs this late is hard to find in Nashik.
Up to 5th standard
We take children right through primary school, not only the preschool years.
After-school afternoons
A snack, homework with someone who can actually help, some quiet reading, and time to just play.
You will know how the day went
Familiar staff who know your child, careful pick-up, and a quick WhatsApp message so you are never left wondering.

The Setting
At the foot of the Pandavleni caves
The campus sits right below the Pandavleni hills, the old rock-cut caves just outside Nashik. It is green and quiet, and there is space for the children to be outdoors every day, which at this age matters more than most things.

Come and see for yourself.
Pick a morning and come in. Watch a class, meet the teachers, and ask whatever you want. Bring your child along. It is really the only way to tell if a school is right for them.
