What ages does the North Star day care accept?
From our own 2-year-olds up to children in 5th standard, around 11. The older ones usually come to us after their own school day. Day care that runs right through primary school is unusual in Nashik.
Do you take children from other schools after their school day?
Yes, and this is most of what the day care is. Children are dropped with us once their school finishes. They get a meal, some rest, time to do their homework with help, and reading and play until a parent collects them.
What are the day care timings?
The day care runs Monday to Friday. Children can come for the afternoon after school, or for a longer day. Tell us your hours and we will work out what fits.
Is homework support included?
Yes. Someone sits with the older children while they do their homework, helping where they get stuck but not doing it for them, so your evenings at home are a little freer.
How do parents stay informed during the day?
On WhatsApp. You get updates through the day and can message us whenever you need to. It is what most parents already use, so we use it too.
Which areas do families come from?
Most of our families live a short drive from Pandavleni: Ambad, Cidco, Pathardi Phata, Indira Nagar, Uttam Nagar and the neighbourhoods around them.
We keep the day care small on purpose.
Small groups are the whole point. Tell us your child's age and your hours, and we will tell you honestly whether we have room and what we can do.
